I was born in California's Napa Valley and grew up in many cities in the state from San Francisco to Los Angeles. In pursuit of education, elbow-room, personal and career goals I've lived in a variety of cities and towns in Arizona, Utah and Idaho.

An injury early in college forced me to change my major from Aviation Science. After some wandering I found Computer Science and learned that I had very strong aptitudes for logic and design. To my delight, those aptitudes translated to an almost fanatic desire to solve logic and interface challenges with elegant solutions. I finally grasped why my teachers and guidance counselors had always been so adamant that I should "... be a computer programmer!" Web development presented an opportunity to combine my programming skills with my interest in design. I've been developing web and desktop applications for over eleven years and love what I do.

I currently live in Arizona with my wonderful wife, Cerra. Much of my focus is on finding and doing interesting work, entrepreneurship, charitable labors and indulging a voracious curiosity.
